finished fairie-tale table for earthday
when my good friend Michelle Strine of The Studio and Art Bar asked me to help her re-vamp her stores and find some new artists and crafters I was so excited…I could use what I know about decorating/merchandising and my catalogs of all the things I wanted to have in a store and pick some out for her…here’s the first day of work ( oh i wish i had a better camera…)
so this would bee a good time to introduce my new-ish business…new-ish because it’s something i’ve been thinking about doing for a few years…here is the link to the temporary website…prices and all services are not updated…but i’m so excited to start i have to share it now…

We ALSO moved spaces two weeks ago…look for us by the piano ( if you’re not from York, that means dead-center near the seating area)!

soft stuff!
March 13, 2009
Recycled Argyle sock and sweaters become dog toys ( no squeakers! if your dogs are like ours they rip apart all of their toys to get the squeaker out!), and cheerful felt birds that can be used as pin-cushions or simply to brighten up a dull space!

OPENING DAY!
March 5, 2009
So happy to finally be open at Market…it happened so fast but it felt like months.
Today was my first day, and I spent most of the first hour hanging Fran’s stained glass stars and straightening up…three sales…a commission…and 5 hours later…I closed up and begrudgingly went home.
It’s such a woderful atmosphere…great vendors ( I’m between Lizzy the candy lady and a travel agency booth that I have yet to see open…but the soup guys are great too…
Can’t wait till I get some pictures up here and have time to really start doing some newsletter..build up a mailing list and really jump in more. But right now I am off to sew more squeak-less recycled argyle dog toys…they seem to be a hit
More to come very, very soon!
Hollie
